Making sense of the interior remodeling experience.

Open Floor Plan

One of the biggest design trends over the last 20 years has been the open floor concept. This often combines the kitchen, family room and dining room into one great room. The idea is to create a shared experience among friends and family. Unfortunately, one of the biggest design trends prior to the open floor conept was the complete opposite, compartmentalization.

Sometimes creating an open floor plan is as simple as removing some walls - other times it may be more invovled and require extensive kitchen remodeling. Whatever the process, we have the tools to modernize your interior.

Laundry and Mudrooms

Laundry and mudrooms have become integral parts of the modern home. Often these rooms are combined interchangeably and function as a "behind the scenes" of the home. It's often the first room entered for the family and serves as a catch-all space.

A great way to add function to these rooms is adding cabinetry. A popular option is to include a dropzone station with a open shelves for mail, shoes, coats or backpacks. We've worked on quite a few in the past and can work with you in customizing your own to fit your personal needs.

How the Interior Remodel Process Works

Pankow Construction is a Phoenix Design+Build Firm - which means your designer, project manager and construction team work under the same roof. From the beginning, you work with a designer to build an interior remodel in 3D including any cabinetry, flooring, colors, etc. This is by far the best way to visualize your new interior remodel and ensure What You See is What You Get. After a design and budget are approved, we hand things over to the project manager to help you with your timeline, schedule and ordering any selections. From there we are able to start construction with a proper road map that keeps everyone on the same page.
