Wellborn Cabinet Doors are crafted from the finest, hand-selected natural wood grown in the United States. Their construction process ensures durability and minimizes shrinkage in different climates. Once constructed, the cabinet doors undergo an unparralleled finishing process that has evolved over years of partner research with Valspar aptly named the "WellGuard Finishing System". This system has been tested against 17 common household chemicals and food products including coffee, citric acid, vinegar and olive oil.

Wellborn offers thousands of color options in paint and stain. All stains are applied using hand-held spray equipment and hand rubbed afterwards to enhance the characterstics of the wood. Paint color formulas are created in conjunction with Valspar and stored on site to ensure a consistent finish. Wellborn can also match just about any color offered by Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams or Valspar color decks. These colors come in a catalyzed conversion finish that is baked in using a special oven.
